Next week is the start of the semifinals and finals for the Winter 2012 season of District Karaoke!
Many have asked how it will work. Well, here it is.
All season, teams have been earning points for singing, bringing and schwinging it every week. After eight (8) weeks, you can look at the standings page and see how things have shaken out:
- 1st Place: Imma Let You Finish
- 2nd Place: Hide Yer Pitch (Hide Yer Wife)
- 3rd Place: The More We Drink, The Better You Sound
- 4th Place: Tone Thugs n’ Harmony
- 5th Place: Lush Wagon: Putting the Live in Liver Since 2012
- 6th Place: Sons of Pitches
In the semifinals, we’ll seed each team like this:
- 1st Place vs. 6th Place
- 2nd Place vs. 5th Place
- 3rd Place vs. 4th Place
The winning teams of each face-off will then go on to battle for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places during the finals. The team with the highest combined scores from both the semifinals and finals round will win the championship!
The losing teams will compete for 4th, 5th and 6th places.
